Director of Baseball / Coach / Trainer / Consultant of PowerBat Swag 

Lu Colón is a native of the Bronx, NY and was an all-city shortstop for Salesian High School in New Rochelle with 3 years of junior national ball for Puerto Rico, recently receiving the honor of having his jersey #23 retired while being inducted to the high school’s Hall of Fame. He went on to play at Caldwell College where he captained the team for his final two years. His playing career ended after 2 years of pro ball overseas and in the Caribbean. He has coached 12 years of High School baseball - 2 at Paramus Catholic, 4 at Bergen Catholic, and the passed 6 years at tri-state powerhouse St. Joe's Regional HS in Montvale, NJ, most recently winning the Triple Crown with the Green Knights in 2021, only the 3rd time it has been accomplished in the history of NJ high school baseball, winning League, County, and State Championships all in one season. For six summers, Colón was third base coach and Assistant GM of the LA Brewers an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers in the California Collegiate League, winning back to back Championships in 2013 and 14. This year he will join the collegiate ranks, joining the staff at William Paterson University as their infield coordinator and working with hitters, as well as, 1B coaching duties. He currently resides in New Jersey where he trains baseball players specializing in infield and hitting instruction. Coach Colón has been NASM certified going on 14 years, as he also works with baseball players exclusively for speed, strength, core, and agility training.
